Kianna Lindsay
Dog Trainer BEd & KPA- CTP

I am a Professional Dog Trainer, certified through the Karen Pryor Academy of Animal Training. My extensive training journey also encompasses a diverse array of courses and seminars, solidifying my expertise in the field.

Additionally, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I currently teach Grade One and have many years of experience teaching advanced Aquatics courses. This combined education and experience helps in training both handlers and their dogs!  I enjoy teaching both group and private classes to help owners teach their dogs to be calm and confident in a variety of environments! I strive to cultivating a positive environment for handlers, recognizing that optimal learning thrives in an atmosphere where the people feel comfortable!

I also have experience training and teaching classes for a variety of dog sports as I have competed in Conformation, Rally, Agility, and Scent Hurdle. My dog Cedar and I competed extensively in Obedience and placed at Nationals.

Pet Therapy holds a special place in my heart. As an evaluator for Pet Partners and a Community Group Leader for Pet Partners of Northern Alberta, I've devoted over a decade to actively engaging in the realm of pet therapy.

Adding to my diverse skill set, I am well-versed in training service dogs and assisting families/handlers in navigating the Government of Alberta assessment process.

My multifaceted background underscores a holistic and comprehensive approach to dog training.
